Up to 30% on GTA4 and I haven't played for two days. I didn't end up getting much sleep on Friday night though :)
I have, instead, used my time slightly productively. By finishing my filing.
Yes, I know I've mentioned this quite a bit, but to give you some idea of the state it was in - this is ONE THIRD of the paper I've thrown away during the process:
I say thrown away, but of course it will be recycled by the majesty of combustion. In total I have reduced my entire life to just this:
It wasn't all me though. Floyd helped by sleeping on my nice new leather chair with occasional dive-bombs every time it looked like my piles of paper were too neat. The git:
Anyway, that done, I can now concentrate on the next series of projects which consist of finishing GTA4, kick-starting Project Innumerate Pentagon (which will hopefully happen this weekend), finishing the initial paperwork for Project Gasping Lung, finalising accounts for last year and putting some shelves up.
My previous DIY track-record suggests the final one will still be on my list in 2013.
Tonight however my home town team are playing a play-off semi-final so I'm going to watch that instead. Well, I say 'home town team' in the sense that Bristol isn't where I'm from, and I prefer Bristol Rovers to Bristol City. It's the thought that counts though, right?
Before I disappear - here's my final Diet Coke Sculpture before I give up drinking the stuff for the summer. It's a Toltec Sun Temple. Obviously.

Sexy folders there. Stationery porn! *drools*
But your filing...ack! Such clutter gives me the screaming ab-dabs, the heebie-jeebies and quite possibly leprosy, too.
he juat wants you to take him in hand
nichola - well that's my rubbish pile. It's all neatly stacked by the fire now. Not. Why would anyone have a neat rubiish pile eh? Eh?
Anonymous - congratulations, you win the RS 'Most Random Blog Comment' award.
amazingly, i have the same sorta thing but my OCD forced me into tabling them horizontally w/i those green pendaflex folders which were liberated from *un-named music law firm in NYC*. and being wealthy attorneys (IMO the lowest of scumsucking dog-felchers), they quite deserved all the liberation i so very kindly bestowed upon them.
right, congratulations on ridding yourself of extraneous papers and such.
oh shit...soz, dude. i quite forgot where i was in comment above.
i so love awards
My paperwork kinda looks like that pile you threw out...must get round to doing something but the nice weather keeps distracting me!
I've never got into the GTA games - maybe too true to life living in Manchester! lol
North v South in the play off finals, so I have to cheer on Hull!
red squirrel - not sure if you're bothered about anonymity but, just to let you know, your 3rd December Natwest statement shows your full name and address ;-)
sg - I'm sensing there was a lot more to come on that train of thought... :)
anonymous - hmmmm, so which anonymous are you? Maybe I should block anonymous comments?
weenie - it's quite liberating when you finally have a spare month to do it. I even bought a lovely second-hand brown filing cabinet. It looks all organised and stuff!
And it's got to be City all the way, although the thought of Dean Windass playing in the Prem is funny.
Ste - um, thanks. Let me delete that then.... :-P
Those photos just make me very glad that I'm a fan of Kim 'n' Aggie and therefore anal (steady!) about my household chores.
Now if you'll excuse me, I just have to back up all the porn I have stashed on my computer and categorise all my dirty books in order of stickiness.
sg - I'm sensing there was a lot more to come on that train of thought... :)
*sigh* dude, as always, you're correct. a LOT more to come. *snigger* but don't get me started (take it from me as well as my poor friends): cause i'd NEVER STFU. in truth, i'd like us to remain buds or whatever the kewl kidz say these daze and it's a bit too soon in our online thingy for me to totally alienate you.
