Lessons in life pt.1

When you have spent all morning talking in a mockney accent ("alwight geezer", "me old cocker" etc etc) along with the rest of your team in a hilarious ribbing of your cockney manager ("me old mucker" etc etc), do not answer your mobile (without thinking) in the same accent by saying:

"Alwight {insert name of important client}, me old china!"

Especially if the important client is a Mr. Liang, first name Wai.

As an aside, quote of the day by a typical posh student overheard outside my flat:

"Oh, yah, Canada is just, like, America but without cool things like steaks and cars."

And t-shirt of the day:

Nothing is
impossible with the
right attitude
(and a hammer)

I've always like the proverb - 'to a man with a hammer, everything looks like a nail.'
