This is my GP surgery:
Not that I've been more than once in the last 7 years (and that was for my shots for South America), but it (an ex-Seminary) is a truly stunning building - inside and out.

How lovely. Funny, but the last time I was there, I remember some truly ugly buildings.

There are plenty - the downtown area suffered the double blow of German carpet bombing and 60's architects.
Up in the nice bit, what where the pwoper people like what I am live, it's lovely.
From what you said you managed to seek out the worst part of the worst area, which takes some doing :)
It would make the perfect castle for a gay version of Dracula. I mean that as a compliment.
gb - the parish church opposite would be perfect for that. Will try and get a pic on the way home this evening (seeing as I walk past it, the internet isn't worth a detour or owt).
