I'm staying up here this weekend as my sister and niece's are over from Germany and are staying at my gran's sun-mon. Seeing as I thought I was finishing tomorrow I'd agreed to stay up because I could head south on Monday night or Tuesday morning. Now I'm here another week and it's buggering up all my plans.

For a start I have to find something to do on Friday night. Usually I drive to Bristol. Maybe I'll just drive around for five hours for old time's sake?

Also, I had a telephone interview today for a job just outside Bristol (well 30-45mins away) and it seemed to go okay, thought I've not heard anything back from the pimp yet. They initially want a contractor for a couple of months (perfect - then I can go on holiday and be back for the summer when the market is fully picked up again) but they need them to start this week or next - bugger! They also want a permie starting fairly soon after that which would mean no holiday....

If it was in Bristol then no question I'd take the permie job and stuff the holiday onto the back burner, BUT it's not so was favouring the holiday, BUT then the job sounded really interesting and I'd get to boss people about a bit (which is always fun), BUT I'd have to take the train in which means getting up regularly in the mornings which isn't a given with me. I used to be decisive, now I'm not so sure....

We'll see what tomorrow brings!
