Eight more days, sitting in this chair. Eight more days, sitting in this chair. And if one more day is wasted accidentally surfing the internet, there'll be seven more days, sitting in this chair....

Hah, I'm now in my notice period so even if I'm canned for t'internet use they've still got to give me two weeks notice and I'm off in eight days. Having said that, I've finally got something vaguely interesting to do so will confine myself to evenings.

Dilemma time!

Frustrated of Bristol asks for advice; once he's finished working in two weeks he has nothing planned for a month apart from his football management course, selling his car and finishing painting/carpeting the hallway - swiftly followed by heading to Japan, Sydney (finally heard from foreign girl 1 and she'll be around then which is uber-cool), NZ and finally Hong Kong for the 7's. This is then rounded off by returning home in April and looking for work.

Pros: Fun, relaxing, fun, stress-free, fun.
Cons: Leaves me skint come April if there's no work around.

Alternatively, frustrated also has a telephone interview on Thursday for a role near Bristol, permie, 30+ grand, that would require him to start before the end of February.

Pros: Employment, money, chance to settle in a job for a bit.
Cons: No holiday, no seeing nice people, no fun.

It's a moral dilemma - fun over practicality, or career over enjoyment? Hmmmm. Too hard for me to figure out. Answers on a postcard to the usual address.....
