Ah, Monday and all the fun that word entails. Only 5 more days until another weekend.

Weekend just gone was a good one for a change - no more info on speeding situation so I shan't bother worrying about it yet, plus a quick double check of my figures shows that I didn't fiddle my expenses or mileage in the slightest so just the 4 or 5 weekends of detailing everything to the Inland Revenue and I should be off the hook for another year. All my fault apparently as I forgot to provide a P11D for the year. Whatever that means. Chat with accountant tomorrow.....

Friday was spent watching The Princess Bride with girl 1 until the wee hours because she hadn't seen it before. These youngsters haven't seen any good films! Then saturday was spent doing lots of DIY and essential shopping (bought a new home phone only to find that in fact Telewest had disconnected the line for some reason rather than the old one being broken. Refund on its way) before cooking for girl 1 and her rather stunning mate and then getting half-cut while they went clubbing.

Sunday was hangover, football, washing, drive up here. The usual.

And so onto today. One of our major pages has got corrupted so needed rebuilding from scratch. So muggins here had to do it - major downside of not being a permie is the fact that you're only really employed to do the jobs that the permies have refused to do....

Ho hum, still it's all cash and there looks like a couple of interesting business ops opening up for early next year that may need investment. Can't really say much more now as a bit hush-hush. Nice to be singled out to join a management team though - means either I've done something right or just faked it brilliantly again....

No decent footie tonight (Arse v Everton) but have the pleasure of having the mighty Spurs v Grimsby to look forward to on Tuesday. May go see ill grandmother tonight then if I can summon the energy - otherwise it'll be Thursday and I'll sleep early tonight instead. Still dead ill from last week.....
